These Payout Terms of Use are effective as of November 2nd, 2025:Zipstory, Inc. welcomes you to our applications and services available from us, through our platforms (the "Site", "App" and "Services"). Your use of the Site, App and the Services are governed by these Payout Terms of Use (these "Terms"). Any time you browse the Site, App or use the Services in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Site, App or the Services.Your use of the Services is also subject to our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use, which are located on the Site, and the policies, rules, and procedures posted on the Services (collectively, the "Policies"). The Privacy Policy and the Policies are incorporated into these Terms by reference. We reserve the right to modify these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and/or the Policies at any time, without notice, with such changes becoming effective when we post the modified Terms to the Site. We also reserve the right to make any changes to the Site and Services in any manner and to deny or terminate your access to the Site and Services, even if you have an Account, in our sole discretion, with no liability to you. Each time you use the Site, App or the Services, the then-current version of the Terms will apply. If you use the Site, App or the Services after a modification of these Terms, you agree to be bound by the Terms as modified.These Terms contain important information regarding your rights with respect to the Site and the Services, including your relationship with us, and include an arbitration provision that may limit your ability to pursue claims against us in court. Please read them carefully and review them regularly.Terms of Service for Zipstory Cashback Offers1. Eligibility for Cashback Offers- Post receives at least 5 legitimate upvotes without collusion.
- The content must be considered useful local information.
- The content cannot be self-promotional, spam, explicitly sexual, exploit minors or potentially break any local laws.
- User must have at least 3 posts with 5 or more upvotes each to be eligible to link a bank account.
- User must have a linked bank account and must make the purchase using a payment method associated with that same bank account in order for the transaction to be verified.
- Cashback is only available if the purchase can be automatically verified through the linked bank account. Zipstory does not provide manual verification or review of alternative payment methods or bank accounts.2. Offer Redemption and Cashback Calculation- Eligible posters will receive a limited-time offer (typically within 24 hours) to make a minimum purchase at a participating local business.
- Cashback is calculated as a percentage (typically 50%) of the minimum purchase amount specified in the offer, not the total amount you spend.
- Example: If an offer requires a $20 minimum purchase with 50% cashback, you will receive $10 cashback (50% of $20) regardless of whether you spend $20 or $100.
- The user must make the purchase within the timeframe specified by the offer.
- After making the purchase, the user must click "Validate Purchase" in the Zipstory app to initiate verification.3. Bank Account Linking- Users must link a bank account to receive cashback payments.
- Only one bank account may be linked per user.
- Bank account verification is conducted through Stripe Financial Connections, a secure third-party service.
- Stripe connection fees apply: $1.50 one-time connection fee (deducted from first reward), $0.40 transaction refresh fee every 30-90 days (deducted from rewards when incurred).
- Your linked bank account will never be charged.4. Purchase Validation and Cashback Payment- After clicking "Validate Purchase," Zipstory will verify the transaction through your linked bank account within 6 hours.
- Transaction verification is automatic and does not require any action from the participating business.
- If no transaction activity is detected in your linked bank account, or if the transaction cannot be automatically verified, the cashback offer will not be fulfilled.
- Zipstory does not provide manual verification services. Users must ensure they purchase using a debit card linked to their verified bank account.
- Once verified, you may choose your payout speed:
- Instant Payout (arrives in ~30 minutes): 1% instant payout fee deducted from your reward, plus connection/refresh fees if applicable. May not be supported by all banks.
- Standard Payout (arrives in 1-3 business days): No instant payout fee. Connection fee ($1.50, first reward only) and refresh fees ($0.40, every 30-90 days) still apply when due.
- Total processing time from purchase to funds in your account is typically 6-30 hours (instant) or 1-3 business days (standard).
- Your net reward amount after all applicable fees will be clearly displayed before confirming your payout choice.
- Payouts are subject to the business maintaining a current subscription with Zipstory.5. Fraud Prevention- Any fraudulent activity will result in the suspension of the user's account.
- Zipstory reserves the right to determine the legitimacy of upvotes and content appropriateness.
- Zipstory reserves the right to deny cashback if purchase validation fails or fraudulent activity is suspected.6. Discretionary Payouts- All payouts are at the sole discretion of Zipstory.
- Payouts may not be guaranteed and may not be fulfilled for any reason at Zipstory's discretion.
- Zipstory does not review individual cases or manually verify transactions that fail automatic validation.7. Acknowledgement and Liability- By participating, users acknowledge that payouts are not guaranteed and are subject to Zipstory's discretion.
- Users agree not to hold Zipstory or participating businesses liable for payout discretion or processing delays within the timeframes specified in these Terms.
- This limitation does not apply to liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or violations of applicable law.8. Dispute Resolution- Users agree to resolve any disputes arising from these Terms or use of the Services through binding arbitration rather than in court, except where prohibited by law.
- Users agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis and waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.
- This arbitration provision does not apply to disputes involving gross negligence, willful misconduct, or violations of applicable law.9. Governing Law- These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.10. Terms of Service Changes- These terms of service are subject to change at any time at the sole discretion of Zipstory. By using the Zipstory platform and participating in cashback offers, users agree to these terms.
